I spent over $50 for a camera case for my Canon EOS Rebel. So, when I went to buy a camera case for my point and shoot camera, I didn’t want to spend more than $15. I ordered the Samsonite Samoa 40c camera case and was surprisingly impressed by the quality of this cheap carrying case. First off, the camera case is very compact but still has room for a few extra accessories like your memory cards and extra batteries. There is even an inner lining specifically for this purpose. As you’d expect from a cheap camera case, the Samsonite doesn’t have much padding but it is made from a really durable material. I guess I should have expected this sort of quality from Samsonite but I didn’t think $10 would get me that much. Samsonite camera cases have a 10 year warranty so that should give you an idea of the quality that they offer.

The main reason that this mini camera case is so practical is because Samsonite had the forethought to put belt loops on it so you can wear it. This makes it very practical for travel. Also, it is great for anytime that you may need to take pictures on the fly and don’t want to struggle with all those compartments on you backpack case. While I wouldn’t recommend the basic Samsonite camera cases to everyone, it is certainly the best option that I’ve found for cheap camera cases for your point and shoot.
